Sugar Maple

Acer saccharum( sugar maple), also called rock maple or hard maple is a large tree in the soapberry family. The tree is commercially very important, as it is a source of maple sugar, maple syrup and hardwood lumber which is useful in making furniture and flooring. The national emblem of Canada is the leaf of sugar maple. Sugar maple extract contains natural AHA acids, thus it is used in skin care products.
